THE PROCESS
KnowMeQ was in their trial product launch when I joined the company, and I was tasked with four main projects:
01 / Payment System
I created the payment system for their AI-Accelerated Credit for Prior Learning platform, enabling students and postgraduates to submit courses for review.
02 / Design Iterations based on User Testing Insights
Based on user testing insights, I redesigned the personal information and resume forms to address the challenges users encountered during the interviews.
03 / Micro Quizzes
I designed the micro quizzes that students must complete as proof of knowledge, allowing admins to determine whether the student is qualified for the course or program.
04 / Applicants Drop off
Super admins will have the ability to remove applicants and view their last active status, as well as the point at which they dropped off, to help identify why an applicant stopped interacting with the platform.
Takeaways
As the UX/UI Designer for the first edition of KnowMeQ's design, I worked with the existing design system created by my predecessor, adding new components and expanding on it. Using my UX design process, I developed new user flows and consistently made design improvements to enhance the overall user experience of the product.
My time at KnowMeQ significantly improved my problem-solving skills and taught me to think on my feet, quickly ideating, iterating, and designing to support the OKRs and business goals. Throughout this process, I always kept in mind the importance of designing for the users, as human-centered design was my top priority. This ability to balance user needs with business objectives became a key takeaway from my experience.
